Shoot your Shot

The person you look up to and admire the most was once exactly where you are, I promise.  We all breathe the same air, and bleed the same.   So what makes that person have what you want?   Whether its wealth, status, career, dream car, dream house, etc. It’s their persistence most likely.  Hearing the word “no” can make or break a person. For successful people, hearing the work “no” is motivation.  For every time I was denied or told I wasn’t good enough, I  used that as fuel.  Now, none of this strategy will work if you don’t believe in yourself first.  The moment you start believing in yourself, the world is yours and the possibilities are endless.  If you don’t’ believe in yourself who will keep shooting your shot at your “dartboard”?  Eventually one of them will stick.  Get out of your comfort zone, your comfort zone will kill you.  Go on that first date, go kill that job interview. Because at the end of the day, that person at the other end of the table is still a person that gets nervous just like you do.  Have confidence, believe in yourself.  It’s okay if you don’t have it all figured out today.  That’s the beauty of life and waking up the next day.  You’re alive, you have another chance at life.
